Buraq is a medical student from The University of Cambridge joining the lab on a Parke-Davis Research Fellowship. Having completed his final year project on Breast-implant-associated lymphomas, he is keen to apply his understanding of hormone-dependent cancers to elucidate further therapeutic targets. Buraq aspires to be an academic physician, both helping patients directly on a personal level, and indirectly on a wider scale through research. In his free time, Buraq enjoys exploring new places, hiking and meeting new people from all walks of life!
