Cristina Guarducci, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral research fellow

Cristina grew up in Prato, Italy and attended the University of Florence for her undergraduate studies in Cellular and Molecular Biology. She started to study the preclinical aspects of breast cancer in Prato under the guidance of Dr. Angelo Di Leo. After obtaining a PhD at the University of Pisa in Clinical Pathology, she moved to Boston in 2017. Here, she is interested in studying mechanisms of resistance to CDK 4/6 inhibitors in estrogen receptor positive breast cancers.  When not in lab, Cristina goes hiking and pursues her stereotypical Italian interests of eating pizza and drinking Chianti.
