Myles Brown Lab
FUNCTIONAL CANCER EPIGENETICS

Picture

Francisco Hermida Prado, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral research fellow

Fran received his Ph.D. in Biomedicine and Molecular Oncology from the University of Oviedo in Spain. His research is focused on the study of genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of tumor progression and drug resistance in breast cancer, with the aim of identifying new therapeutic targets that can be translated to the clinic. When he is not in the lab, Fran is probably spending time with his dog, practicing any kind of sport, or enjoying a good beer.
